A young boy fights crime for a day instead of cancer
A young boy's dream to be a super hero is about to come true and an entire city is coming together to help him fight crime for a day instead of his cancer.
The director of Make-A-Wish sent an email to 550 volunteers in October asking for help turning San Francisco into Gotham City. So 5-year-old cancer patient, Miles could feel like "Bat Kid." Now thousands are signed up to help.
"Bat Kid" will be called into action Friday.
The 5-year-old will rescue a damsel in distress on a cable car and foil a bank robbery.
And while having lunch at the burger bar, a crowd of volunteers will call for "Bat Kid" to help stop a kidnapping.
Miles' last stop will be at City Hall where the mayor will give him a key to the city for being such a great super hero.
