Investigations are underway in two North Georgia fires.
The first is in Catoosa County. Insurance and Safety Fire Commissioner Ralph Hudgens said a fire that destroyed a home was intentionally set.
fire happened Monday night around 9:40 p.m. at 941 Houston Valley Road in
Ringgold, and caused an estimated loss of $100,000.
Anyone with information is asked to call the Arson
Hotline at 1-800-282-5804. Rewards of up to $10,000 are given for
information leading to the arrest and conviction of an arsonist.
And in Walker County, a fire purposely set destroyed a home on Old Trion Highway in Lafayette. It happened around 6:00p.m. Monday. The loss is estimated at 20-thousand dollars.
