A  serious warning for you, if you bought kerosene in Ringgold at any point Thursday.

The Georgia Ag commissioner reports it's possible the fuel is contaminated.

That includes the Mapco Mart on Nashville Street, in Ringgold.

It's possible the kerosene is mixed with gasoline that could 'explode' if you put it in heaters or lamps.  The warning only applies to kerosene bought Thursday, at the Ringgold Mapco.

State inspectors shut down the pumps, and they won't be re-opened until they've been cleaned out.

If you bought kerosene at that store Thursday, return it right away.

A second store in Columbus, Georgia may also have sold bad kerosene.
