Dangling foot inside chimney reveals would-be burglar

(WBBH)  While chimneys don't get too much use in southwest Florida, they're still not a great way for burglars to break into homes.

That didn't stop Richard Tyler Brandon from trying.

Brandon's accomplice, Derek Alan Grenfell approached deputies at a Naples 7-Eleven to tell them his friend was stuck in a chimney.

The burglar was found shoeless, with one foot dangling into the fireplace of the unoccupied home.
