CHATTANOOGA, TN (WRCB) -

A man charged for first degree murder in a 2011 armed robbery will serve an eight-year prison term.

22-year-old Deangelo Justice faced charges for the shooting that killed 23-year-old James Williams Junior and critically wounded Williams' girlfriend Yetta Harris, during an armed robbery in late July of 2011.

Justice pleaded guilty to a reduced charge Tuesday morning and was given an eight year sentence.

His co-defendant, Jerrico Hawthorne, previously went to trial and was given a life prison sentence.

Justice will be eligible for parole consideration after 30-percent of his time is served.
