Country singer Aldean: Man passed away after stepping in front of tour bus
VINCENNES, IN (WFIE) - Early Monday morning, around 1:30 a.m., the Knox County Sheriff's Department was called to an accident involving a pedestrian hit by a vehicle just north of Vincennes.
They believe Albert Kennedy of Vincennes walked into the middle of Northbound 41, and was hit and killed by a bus.
Country singer Jason Aldean tweeted Monday afternoon, "With a heavy heart, I'm sad to say that a man passed away last night after stepping out in front of my bus in Indiana. In all the years I've been touring and all the miles we've driven, nothing prepares you for something like this to happen. I'm praying for Albert Kennedy's family and friends today and ask that you do the same."
The Coroner pronounced Kennedy dead from "trauma to the head and chest."
The department is continuing its investigation, and could release new information soon.
