Man accused of stealing woman's false teeth

MEMPHIS, TN (WMC-TV) - A beloved crossing guard whose false teeth were stolen in an armed robbery may get justice after all.

Donell Johnson, 20, is being held in the Shelby County Jail currently without bond. He is charged with one count of aggravated robbery.

Action News 5 first introduced you to longtime school crossing guard Linda Foster, 65, after she was robbed on October 1st.

According to the affidavit of complaint, Foster was parked in the bank parking lot at Summer and Berclair when Foster stuck his head through her open driver's side window and told Foster to "Get out!" She refused and tried to start her car to get away. Police say Johnson grabbed her hand to prevent her from getting away. Johnson and Foster began to fight and Johnson then allegedly pulled a gun, stuck it in her chest, and grabbed her purse, which contained her hearing aid and false teeth. The total value of the stolen items is $1,200.
