Meth found in Frosted Flakes box, 6 arrested

Posted: Updated:

Six people have been arrested in a drug bust that netted more than $200,000 worth of meth.

Whitfield County Sheriff's officials attempted to stop a 2003 GMC Envoy on Highway 41 on Oct. 24. Authorities say the driver, Kerri Nichols, refused to stop and a chase ensued into Gordon County.

During the chase, authorities say meth was repeatedly thrown from the vehicle.

When deputies managed to stop the vehicle they arrested Nichols and Michael Finnegan plus discovered 11-thousand dollars in the vehicle.

During the investigation officials learned of an alleged deal between the suspects and another person.

A sting was planned and the suspects met with Alejandro Zamora-Gonzalez at the Trade Center in Dalton.

That's when officers moved in and arrested four people.

Meth was then found in a Frosted Flakes cereal box.
