Heritage clinches return trip to Columbus with doubleheader sweep
RINGGOLD, Ga. (WRCB) -- Lauren Lawson didn't allow an earned run in ten innings of work and the Heritage offense provided plenty of run support as the high-powered Generals swept a doubleheader from visiting Eastside to clinch a spot in next week's Class AAA Elite Eight bracket in Columbus.
Heritage (30-7), who will be making its third trip to Columbus in the last six years, won by scores of 11-1 and 10-0.

Shelby Hammontree had four hits and drove in four runs, while Brooklyn Frazier, Olivia Tamewitz, Katie Pritchett and Ali Roberts had two hits apiece and combined to drive in six runs.
