Jeffrey Hussey Sr. displayed his sincere appreciation Sunday to all of the responders who helped his son.

All of the responders and the Hussey family met at the Bradley County Firehall Station #8 downtown and had a cook-out and an award presentation. EMS and Fire and Rescue both received plaques.

"Responders do this job because they have a desire to help others. They don't do it for the recognition but it sure is nice for them to get that pat on the back every now and then. For these guys to be reunited with Jeffrey was the best thank you they could of had." Stan Clark EMS spokesperson.
