Reward offered for info in mysterious GA teen wrestling mat death

VALDOSTA, Ga. (AP) - The Valdosta-Lowndes County Chapter of the Southern Christian Leadership Council is offering a $10,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction in the death of Lowndes High School student Kendrick Johnson.

The Rev. Floyd Rose says an anonymous donor put up the reward money. He told WALB-TV (http://bit.ly/19Ty81D ) that the organization has not taken a position on whether Johnson's death was intentional or accidental.

His body was found inside a wrestling map at Lowndes High in January. The Georgia Bureau of Investigation ruled it an accident based on autopsy results. But Johnson's family had a second autopsy done by a forensic doctor in Florida, who concluded Johnson's death was due to blunt force trauma.
