Ga. man pleads guilty in 'sextortion' scheme

ATLANTA (AP) - Federal prosecutors in Atlanta say a 28-year-old man has pleaded guilty in a "sextortion" scheme that targeted teenage girls.

Authorities say Tremain Hutchinson of Mableton used social media sites to contact teen girls and pressure them into sending him nude photos and videos of themselves.

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports prosecutors have accused Hutchinson of sexually assaulting at least three of the girls.

Prosecutors say while he used the social media sites, Hutchinson pretended to be a teenager and reached out to young girls between November 2011 and April 2012.

Hutchinson is scheduled to be sentenced Dec. 30.
