Dry through Tuesday, showers Wednesday

Posted: Updated:

(WRCB) - Good Monday.  Our first real blast of cooler weather is around the corner!

For your Columbus Day, we will keep temps above normal with highs near 80 this afternoon and partly cloudy skies.

Clouds will be on the increase Tuesday.  That will keep highs in the upper 70s.

The clouds will be in advance of a front that will bring in some light scattered showers Wednesday.

Following the front, cool and breezy air will move in Thursday.  We can expect north winds at 10-15 moh blowing in much cooler air.  Highs Thursday through the weekend will only reach the upper 60s.

Lows toward the end of the week and the weekend will drop into the mid to upper 40s.
