The Battlefield has been closed since last week. Keeping some tourists away from the town during the 150th anniversary of the Civil War.

Kathy Phillips works at the Ole Mill General Store.

The store ordered hundreds of bags of extra Kettle Corn to meet the demand of the big anniversary, but Phillips says the first Saturday since the shutdown was slow.

The boxes of Kettle Corn expire in December, Phillips hopes to sell them before then.

She says once the park reopens sales should pick back up.
