Man sentenced to 30 years in Red Bank murder case

RED BANK, TN (WRCB) -

The man accused of killing a Red Bank business owner will spend 30 years behind bars.
Segmund Boyd is charged with second degree murder and especially aggravated robbery, in the 2012 death of Winston Gant.
Gant was the father-in-law of state representative Gerald McCormick.
Boyd was originally charged with first degree murder, but those charges were reduced during a plea deal.
Adrian Gustus is also charged in the 2012 murder.
