Friday Night Food Fight to benefit Chattanooga Area Food Bank

Posted: Updated:

Join WRCB, Dalton High School and Northwest High School for a Friday Night Food Fight.

This Friday you can help the Chattanooga Area Food Bank and WRCB's Share Your Christmas as we join forces to help those in our area who need it most.

Students will collect cans at each school during the week.  Fans can bring canned food or cash donations to the game at Northwest High School Friday night.  All the food and money collected will go to the Food Bank's Dalton branch to directly benefit North Georgia residents.

The total amount collected from both schools during the week, and at the gate that night, will be announced during the game.

This is the first Friday Night Food Fight this season.  Other Food Fights include; the October 18th game between Grace Academy and Silverdale Academy, and the November 1st  matchup between Marion County and South Pittsburg.  All food and cash will stay in the community where it is donated.

The Chattanooga Area Food Bank helps serve 20,000 people each week in 11 counties in southeast Tennessee and 9 counties in northwest Georgia.
