Good Monday.  If you live on the Cumberland Plateau, you saw about .50" of rain overnight (closer to an inch in Pikeville).  In the Tennessee Valley, only light amounts of rain fell, ranging from .10' to .25".  The heaviest amounts were in the Blue Ridge Mountains where we saw about an inch falling during the overnight.

Now, with the front moving out, we will see cool and breezy weather settling in.  The high will only reach 71 this afternoon.  Breezes will increase later today, also, blowing from the northwest at 10-15 mph.

That northwest flow will allow cooler weather to continue streaming in through tonight.  The low heading into Tuesday morning will drop to about 47 degrees in Chattanooga.

For the rest of the week we will slowly warm into the upper 70s by the end of the week.  Lows will be comfortable in the upper 40s tonight and tomorrow night, and the mid 50s for the rest of the week.

The weekend looks good.  I expect partly cloudy skies and highs in the low 80s both Saturday and Sunday.
