Johnson and McDougal Win TVBC Tournament on Chickamauga

CHATTANOOGA (WRCB) – The Tennessee Valley Bass Club held the final tournament of its twelve tournament season this Saturday, September 21, 2013, on Chickamauga Lake. There were 14 teams that participated in the event.

The team of Paul Johnson and Roho McDougal caught a five-bass limit weighing 17.57 pounds to take the win and the $448 first place prize. The duo also won the $100 bonus for being the highest finishing Tow Boat U.S. member of the event. They also took big-fish honors with a largemouth bass weighing 5.89 pounds and an extra $140.

The second-place team of Gary Davenport and Harold Coffman Jr. brought in a five fish limit weighing 16.61 pounds.

Third place went to the duo of Russell Parkhill and Freddie Bradford with five bass weighing 16.25 pounds.

The Tennessee Valley Bass Club will host their year end Classic, September 21st, 2013 on Lake Nickajack October 19th and 20th out of the Shellmound boat ramp.
