Good Friday!  I hate to admit it, but I am looking forward to the rain tomorrow.  I know, easy to say if you haven't planned an event for then, but as the rain is almost inevitable at this point, let's just enjoy it if we can.

Here is the layout.  High pressure is still dominant today.  The circulation of air around the high gives us a light southwest flow of air that will warm us into the upper 8os today with partly cloudy skies.

Clouds are going to be increasing through the night.  For all the football games tonight, we will be cloudy, but no rain.  Temps through the evening will be in the upper 70s and low 80s.

Overnight, as a front gets closer we may have one or two showers.  By about 6:00 a.m., however, the rain will begin to move in.  Periods of heavy rain and isolated thunderstorms will continue into early afternoon.  For late afternoon, the heavy rain will move east, but we will still have lots of clouds, and periodic light showers through Saturday evening.

Rainfall amounts Saturday will range from 1"-2" with locally higher amounts.

Fall officially begins Sunday at 4:44pm.  It should be a beautiful day with clearing skies, much drier air (dew points in the 40s), and cool temps near 80 degrees.
