TVA to auction $30 million in surplus equipment

The Tennessee Valley Authority is prepping over $30 million worth of surplus equipment from their nuclear coal-fired plant in Hartsville, TN to be sold at auction.

The inventory consists of new, crated and unused electrical equipment, transformers, valves, pumps, cylinders, Mack trucks, forklifts, road tractors and more.  

The inventory will be sold in four separate auctions. All of the auctions will be at the Hartsville, TN location on September 24th, October 22nd, and November 19th.  

The auctions will be live and have simulcast bidding available, which will allow buyers to watch and participate in real time.
