Time is running out for South Pittsburg homeowners to get help repairing their flood-damaged property.

The Tennessee Housing Development Agency awarded South Pittsburg a $300,000 grant to help low to moderate income flood victims who own property within city limits.

Those property owners have until September 26th to apply for a piece of that grant. Residents could receive up to $10,000 in assistance.

The Southeast Tennessee Dev elopement District will be set up at the Princess Theater downtown on the 26th to help people fill out and turn in pre-approval applications. Representatives will be on hand from 10 am to 7 pm.
