JC's Family BBQ could use some cleaning, and Old Saigon gets a near perfect score
Dining out this weekend?
Well, the inspectors at the Hamilton County Health Department had a great week, reporting no failing grades among the more than 25 restaurants inspected.
Remember, we do give the low score and that's a 79. A failing grade is anything lower than a 70. JC's Family BBQ on Highway 58 gets that distinction this week and according to Chief Inspector Jack Falcon, here's why:
Inspectors found the walls dirty, staff not cleaning utensils properly, the freezer was dirty, inspectors found dented cans and they were storing cooking pots on the floor. Once again the score is a 79.
The high score of the week is a 98 and we say congratulations to the hard work going on at Old Saigon Restaurant on Dayton Boulevard.
