Fall weather moving in!

Posted: Updated:
CHATTANOOGA, TN (WRCB) -

Good Friday!  Friday the 13th?  Who cares!!  The first push of fall weather trumps superstition every time.

The front that brought a few scattered showers yesterday has pushed on through.  Behind it, northerly winds will bring in the cooler and drier air throughout the day, and we will only improve over the weekend.

For today, look for highs in the mid 80s (we hit 91 yesterday).  Late today, dew point values will also start dropping, meaning that the air will also be drying out.

Lows tonight will fall into the upper 50s, and highs will only reach the low 80s Saturday afternoon under sunny skies.

Sunday and Monday will be similar, then we will start to see some instability returning that could cause some showers toward the middle and end of next week.  Highs next week should stay in the mid 80s.
