RED BANK, TN (WRCB) -

Demolition is well underway at the Red Bank Middle School building, most of which was constructed in the late 1930s.

Red Bank officials say the land on Dayton Boulevard will be converted into recreational and residential development, with town meetings soon to be scheduled for citizen input.

The new Red Bank Middle School opened on Morrison Springs Road last month.
