POLK COUNTY, TN (WRCB) -

U.S. 64 in Polk County is open, but still down to one lane following last week's rock slide.

The Tennessee Department of Transportation officials say it will stay in its current configuration for awhile.

They're brainstorming a long term fix to the roadway, which is prone to rock slides.

Tonight on Channel 3 Eyewitness News Live at 5, we'll have details on what's causing these slides, and what local drivers and business owners have to say about the impact the rock slides have on local traffic.
