Police searching for suspects in East Ridge robbery and shooting

EAST RIDGE, TN (WRCB) -

East Ridge Police responded to reports of a robbery and shooting on 3692 Shirl Jo Lane Monday around 5 p.m.

Police spoke with the victim who said the suspects forcibly entered his residence through a back door.

The victim also told police the suspects fled the scene in a blue van with tinted windows after shooting at him as he pursued them in the area of South Crest Road.

No injuries were reported and East Ridge Police are still investigating.

Anyone with any information about this incident is asked to contact the East Ridge Police Department.
