LABOR DAY FORECAST: Scattered storms today, drying out midweek
Good Monday. We may see a few showers and storms for the cookout later today, but the best chance for rain will be this morning.
A slow moving front will push through the area today. Ahead of the front we can expect mostly cloudy skies with isolated showers or storms possible throughout the day, but primarily this morning. The rain chance for your area is 40% this morning, 20% this afternoon/evening. Highs today will reach about 90 degrees.
For Tuesday, we will continue with cloudy skies, but the rain chance will be below 20%. We will stay warm with highs near 90, but drier air will begin to move in behind the front Tuesday afternoon.
For the rest of the week expect mostly sunny skies, highs in the upper 80s, and low humidity, so it should be fairly comfortable leading up to the weekend.
For the weekend, the humidity will begin to return, and we MAY see one or two showers or storms Saturday, but the chance is only 20%. Sunday will be about the same. Highs both days will be in the upper 80s.
