Good Friday! With the onset of college football, we are ready for fall and cooler temperatures. We will have to wait a few days, but they are on the way.
For the Labor Day weekend, there won't be much change. Highs will be in the low 90s, with lows in the low 70s.
Today, we will see some isolated afternoon and evening thunderstorms flaring up, but they should taper off as we move through the evening.
You might expect to deal with some first half rain and storms but you should be okay for the second half.
Showers and storms will be a little more widespread Saturday and Sunday, and could develop any time during the day.
Labor Day looks about the same with scattered showers and storms possible into the evening with a high of 87 degrees.
A front will sweep away the hot, muggy air on Tuesday, and we will have cooler and drier air settling in for the second half of next week. Highs will drop into the low to mid 80s.
