First Bank of Tennessee in Dayton robbed

Around 1 p.m. on Thursday, First Bank of Tennessee on Highway 27 South in Dayton was robbed.

Dayton Police say a white male handed a note that instructed the teller to give him money.

The teller put an undisclosed amount of money in the small bag that robber gave her and then he turned and exited on the north end of the bank.

Dayton Police say the man is 6 ft and weighed over 300 lbs or he could have had something to make himself appear bigger.

Police also tell Channel 3 that the suspect he wore a black or dark blue baseball cap and glasses and could have possibly had a fake beard and mustache;
