CHATTANOOGA, TN (WRCB) -

October 16th is National Feral Cat Day and to commemorate that day the McKamey Animal Center has implemented a Community Cat Program

Until Friday, October 18th, McKamey will offer free spay/neuter surgeries for feral and community cats.  To participate you must be a resident of the city of Chattanooga.

This program is for ferals (unsocialized cats) and community cats (a feral or free roaming cat that does not have any discernable ownership).

All cats must be brought to McKamey by 8:00a.m. and pick up is between 5:00-6:00p.m. the same day.  All cats will be ear tipped to show that they have been sterilized.

Call us at 305-6513 if you need to rent a humane trap.
