ER Police raid illegal gambling facility

EAST RIDGE, TN (WRCB) -

The investigation in an illegal gambling facility continues in East Ridge.

Thursday police served a search warrant regarding an aggravated gambling promotion at Ridgewood Village commercial complex suite 150 at 5611 Ringgold Road.

A few individuals were taken into custody for their roles in the businesses activities and charged with aggravated gambling promotion pending.

The suite is leased to Mirror Mirror Productions and had recently been renovated to include a shop in the front area to act as a cover for the gambling activities taking place in the back. 

Eight individual electronic gambling machines with touch screens, a homemade computer server hidden in the ceiling and a concealed kill switch were located in the back room.

East Ridge Police seized equipment, files and cash.

The investigation is still ongoing.
