RED BANK, TN (WRCB)-  Hamilton County government and school district leaders joined Vance Travis from TWH Architects and builders from Rentenbach Construction to celebrate the opening of the long-awaited Red Bank Middle School on Wednesday.

The $29.6 million facility replaced a 75-year-old building on Dayton Boulevard, and was in the planning stages for almost ten years.  Officials praised the school's design and its LEED certification, which will result in energy savings.
