The World Gravy Wrestling Championships were the main course at the Rose 'n' Bowl pub in Lancashire. It was a day after the traditional English Sunday roast is served, but there was plenty of gravy left over for the seventh annual championships. More than 3,000 gallons of traditional Lancashire gravy was supplied. Around a thousand spectators watched as competitors took to the mat. Flair, humor and strength are key to those who want to come out on top in this sport.
