Man indicted in wife's murder
Bradley County Sheriff's Deputies have made an arrest in the murder of Marsha Brantley.
Donnie Brantley was indicted in the death.
Marsha was reported missing from her home in November 2009.
Investigators searched her home twice and later dug up the basement with cadaver dogs but a body was never located.
The family has turned over several discoveries to police including Marsha's day planner that leads them to believe she actually went missing in early June. Her husband, Donnie, never reported her missing and her family says they rarely heard from her anyway. He said she left him.
Marsha's hair dresser finally reported her missing in November, after she hadn't come into the salon for a while. All of her belongings, including her car, were still at the house, mostly in trash bags.
Brantley was taken into custody at the Judicial Complex when he appeared in court for a previous charge of hindering a secured creditor. He is being held in the Bradley County Jail with a bond of $500,000.
Donnie Brantley faces charges of first degree murder.
