Dry weather all week

Posted: Updated:
CHATTANOOGA, TN (WRCB) -

Good Monday.  We will be able to enjoy a break from the rain through the week, and maybe even into the Labor Day weekend.

For today, look for mostly sunny skies with highs in the mid to upper 80s.  Humidity will be low enough so we should feel quite nice for the end of August.

As we move through the week, temperatures will climb a bit into the low 90s, and we will start to see the humidity returning as well.  By the weekend, we will see a slight chance for an isolated storm or two, but right now, the chance of rain is only 20% for Saturday and Sunday.

Good Wednesday.  We will have record breaking high temperatures today and tomorrow with highs of 77 and 79 degrees respectively.  Both days will sport a few light sprinkles, but nothing major as a ridge of high pressure continues to block the significant rain and cooler air keeping it to the west.
