The FBI and is looking for a man who robbed a Knoxville bank Saturday afternoon.

Investigators say the man entered the Oak Ridge National Lab (ORNL) Federal Credit Union just after 11 a.m. He threatened he had a bomb, displayed a note and demanded money.

He left the scene with an undisclosed amount of money and left a package behind.

The KPD Explosive Ordinance Disposal team responded and determined the package was a hoax device.

The suspect was wearing a black tee shirt, black shorts, and a camouflage baseball-style hat.

A reward is being offered for any information which leads to the arrest of this individual.  Anyone with information is asked to please call the Knoxville FBI at 865-544-0751 or KPD at 865-215-7212.

This matter is being jointly investigated by the FBI SSTF and KPD Major Crimes Unit.
