KNOXVILLE — A judge gave Pilot Flying J until the end of the month to respond to a proposed class-action lawsuit filed by five former customers in Knox County Circuit Court.
Attorneys Mark Tate and Drew McElroy came to court Thursday asking that they be allowed to question Pilot CEO Jimmy Haslam, company president Mark Hazelwood and other Pilot officials under oath as soon as possible.
The attorneys represent five trucking companies, all former Pilot customers, seeking damages after being shortchanged on diesel rebates.
