COCKE COUNTY, TN (WRCB) - A joint effort by the Cocke County Sheriff's office, the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation, the Tennessee Highway Patrol and the Tennessee Alcoholic Beverage Commission resulted in the seizure of 52 plants, a 200-gallon moonshine cooker and over 200 gallons of moonshine.

The seizure and arrests are a part of the TABC's joint venture with the Governor's Task Force on Marijuana Eradication.

On Monday, helicopter surveillance by the THP located the marijuana plants, and when officials investigated further, they discovered the still and moonshine.

The individual was placed in custody and will be taken before the grand jury.
