Milling and Gross Win August TVBC Tournament on Guntersville

CHATTANOOGA (WRCB) – The Tennessee Valley Bass Club held the tenth tournament of its twelve tournament season this Saturday, August 17, 2013, on Guntersville. There were 15 teams that participated in the event.

The team of James Milling and Buddy Gross caught a five-bass limit weighing 23.97 pounds to take the win and the $448 first place prize. The duo also won the $100 bonus for being the highest finishing Tow Boat U.S. member of the event.

The second-place team of Rick Camp and Anthony Blevins brought in a five fish limit weighing 22.34 pounds.

Third place went to the duo of Ricky Murphy and Brent Barnes with five bass weighing 20.83 pounds. The duo also took big-fish honors with a giant largemouth bass weighing 8.83 pounds which earned them an extra $140.

The Tennessee Valley Bass Club will host their next event, September 21st, 2013 on Chickamauga Lake out of Chickamauga Dam.
