Two shot in ankle in separate shootings

Two people were shot overnight Sunday in two different incidents.

Around midnight, police responded to the 1200 block of Greenwood Drive on a shooting.

Officers located Tramelvin Simmons with a gunshot wound in the ankle.

Simmons told police he was outside when someone started shooting. He was taken to the hospital with non life threatening injuries.

Shortly after, police say they responded to the hospital on a person shot around 3:15 a.m. Sunday.

The victim, Terry Pullom, told police he was parked to an "after hours spot" called Club Boo Cue when someone started shooting into the crowd that was in the parking lot.

Pullom was hit in the left ankle and taken to the hospital. He is in stable condition.

Police do not have suspects at this time.
