Police said a motorists on I-75 saw the suspect's car and recognized it from the descriptions from the Amber Alert. The motorist called 911.

Patrol officers tried to pull suspect Samantha Nicole Barrett over, but she fled from officers, at speeds of up to 90 mph.

A Henry County officer was able to deploy stop sticks to deflate the tires on the suspect's car, which slid off of the roadway, where police were able to apprehend Barrett and get the baby.
