Good Wednesday. Enjoy the temporary respite from the rain. It won't last long.
So far, 2013 has proven to be the second wettest in the past 30 years, and we're not done yet.
Today, however, will be awesome. The front that ushered in the rain yesterday is now to our south, and behind it north winds will transport cool, dry air into the area.
Highs today will be in the low to mid 80s (the normal high is 90) under partly cloudy skies. The low humidity will only add to the comfort level today.
Tonight will be much cooler as well with lows dropping into the low 60s by Thursday morning.
The front to our south will become stationary, and an area of low pressure will form along it. That low will shoot in clouds and a few isolated showers through the day Thursday, Friday, and into the weekend.
Even with the clouds and the chance of rain toward the end of the week, the cooler air will stay in place, with temps even dropping into the upper 70s by Friday and Saturday.
