Staffing company to hold job recruitment

LAFAYETTE, GA (WRCB) -

Express Employment Professionals, a staffing company, will hold a recruitment August 21 to fill manufacturing jobs in Chattanooga and Northwest Georgia.

The company will be recruiting  twister, extrusion, forklift and other machine operators, along with assembly-line workers, creelers, fixers, painters, packers, welders, and receptionists.

The recruitment will be from 1:30-4:30 p.m. at the Georgia Department of Labor's LaFayette Housing Authority, located at 300 South Oak St.

Applicants with a resume should bring it and be prepared to interview and fill out company applications. Applicants must be at least 18.

Officials say not all positions require manufacturing experience, but at least six months of work experience is preferred.
