Good Tuesday. Hang in there! We have one more day of showers and storms, then cool, dry weather will settle in for a few days.
We have had some impressive rainfall this month. So far, we have had 4.25" of rain. The normal for the entire month is 3.59". The surplus for the year so far is 18.63".
Today, we may add to that as we see more scattered showers and storms popping up throughout the day, producing heavy rain and lightning. Otherwise, it will be warm and humid with highs in the upper 80s.
A front will push through tonight, and the result will be fantastic.
Wednesday through Friday we will see light north winds behind the front pushing in cooler and drier air.
Highs during that time will be in the low 80s, 5-10 degrees below the normal high of 90. Humidity levels will also be much lower, so it will feel VERY nice for the second half of the week.
The weekend will keep temps in the low 80s, but more humid weather will move back in, and we will probably even see a few showers and storms Saturday and Sunday.
