Bill Cartwright, the general manager of Waynesboro's KFC, says the chicken legends were happy to join the party.

"The colonel was really big on family values and family participation, obviously this family is very close knit and we wanted to do something for the family and the community. We just think it's really neat how far this has gone," he says.

So KFC prepared chicken, biscuits, more chicken, macaroni, coleslaw slaw.

It was just a small, intimate gathering for 100 people.
