It's still growing.
The drawing for the big Powerball jackpot is set for Wednesday night.
The $425 million jackpot is the third largest in the Powerball's history. The cash value is $244.7 million.
In Tennessee, lottery officials anticipate sales for Wednesday's jackpot will be 3-4 times higher than the average draw sales.
And In Red Bank, Channel 3 caught up with some folks buying their tickets at The Corner Store.
"Somebody's gotta win," said Barbara Davis. "That's a lot of money."
The chances Barbara Davis wins tonight's Powerball are 1 in 175 million. She knows the odds aren't in her favor. But just thinking about that big jackpot has her seeing green.
"You'd have to sit down and do a lot of thinking about what to do with all that money," Davis said.
Davis lets the computer pick the six numbers on her ticket. But you might say luck is on her side.
"I have won $1000 at one time and $500 at one time," she said.
But fellow Powerball player Tim Childers sticks to his own strategy. He uses his kids birthdays.
"I've got five kids and one stepdaughter. And I put my wife's birthday on there."
One paper ticket, six little numbers and millions on the line.
"Just a little bit," Childers said. "One million will do, you know what I mean? Just a little bit."
If you haven't bought the winning ticket just yet, you have until 9:59 p.m. EST to buy it. Channel 3 will air the winning Powerball numbers on Eyewitness News at 11.
