Kohl's presents $52k check to Children's Hospital

Kohl's raised more than $50,000 for the Children's Hospital at Erlanger and presented the hospital a check at their back to school safety fair.

East Brainerd's Kohl's Department Store and Children's Hospital at Erlanger Safe and Sound Program hosted the safety fair and check presentation.

Kohl's raised $52,895 through its Kohl's Cares program story books and stuffed toys.

Erlanger and Children's Hospital LIFE FORCE air medical services surprised a few of the shoppers with a fly over to show their appreciation to Kohl's and its customers.

"We feel the Kohl's Cares program is a perfect fit for meeting both the Safe and Sound mission and the stores' mission in supporting health initiatives for children," added Ellis.  "We certainly could not provide some of our services without their support.  We thank their staff for hosting this safety event and their commitment to helping Children's Hospital at Erlanger keep our kids safe and sound."
