Dysart and Copenhaver Hold C.B.A. Point Lead
CHATTANOOGA (WRCB) - The team of 27 yr. old Jayme Copenhaver and 32 yr. old Adam Dysart from Ooltewah, Tn. hold on to the Chattanooga Bass Association overall point lead after the first 6 tournaments of a 9 tournament season.
Jayme said " We finished 10th in the points last year, but this year we had a good start and have held on even though we have lost a few fish this year that would have given us some better finishes. I feel good about our chances in the August night tournament that is coming up and we usually fish real well in the fall. We have got some real good fisherman on our tail, so we well have to make some good decisions and get them in the boat to win".
The team leading the point standings at the end of 2013 season will receive free entries into the upcoming 2014 season. The final regular season open tournament will be held October 12th. All tournaments are held out of Chester Frost Park in Hixson, TN.
Chattanooga Bass Association was founded by community leaders in 1976 and was designed to offer a top quality open fishing circuit to Chattanooga and surrounding areas; while enhancing Chattanooga's economic growth and recreational potential.
The C.B.A ends its season with the Tow Boat U.S. Classic Championship where $10,000.00 will be awarded to the first place team.
