CHATTANOOGA, TN (WRCB) -

FAA officials are investigating after a plane entered restricted air space Tuesday.

Officials say a private, single-engine aircraft entered the restricted airspace over Chattanooga without authorization around noontime Tuesday.

A no-fly zone was enacted over the city while President Obama visited.

Officials say air traffic controllers attempted to make radio contact with the pilot but the pilot did not respond.

The aircraft headed south and landed at West Georgia Regional Airport in Carrollton, GA.
The FAA is investigating.
