SHE Expo offers weekend of empowerment for women

Posted: Updated:
CHATTANOOGA, TN (WRCB) -

It's all about empowerment this weekend at the Chattanooga Convention Center.

Over 150 vendors are in the Scenic City this weekend for the 'She expo.'

'She' offers women two days filled with food, fun, shopping, and entertainment.

Miss Kay, the revered matriarch of the famed "Duck Dynasty" family made an appearance at the expo Saturday afternoon. She was there to talk about faith, family and ducks.

The Susan G. Komen foundation was also there organizing a fashion show for breast cancer survivors.

"Women can feel quite different after being diagnosed, and this is just a way to help them feel beautiful and let others see how beautiful they are and celebrate their survivorship of breast cancer," says Anita Stewart, Susan G. Coman Mission Director.

If you missed out Saturday -- don't worry the event continues Sunday at the convention center.
